Paranormal activity and strange phenomena that we cannot explain have always fascinated us all as humans. That's why we found a fascinating assignment to work on this Discovery Italy project: creating a uniquely DMAX identity for their new show: Il Boss del Paranormal. A series where Daniele Bossari hunts for unexplained phenomena captured by security cameras and smartphones, helping the audience distinguish between real videos and simple hoaxes.
Using a white noise / CCTV palette and DMAX's iconic typeface, motion and rough textures and combining everything with some of the show's footage we manage to balance originality and the already well-known DMAX style.
